ARGENTINA, Ines Petiti. The Schoenstatt Rosary Campaign in Goya, Argentina invites everyone to pray twenty rosaries which are offered to the Blessed Mother and Jesus on the 18th of July starting at 10:00 a.m. at the wayside shrine of Our Lady – at the intersection of Ave Peron and Ave. del Trabjo – the Blessed Mother’s place of grace in Goya. The first, five Pilgrim MTA’s arrived in Goya on August 18th, seven years ago, thanks to the initiative of Maria Delia de Ferruchi. The Pilgrim MTA’s were commissioned at the wayside shrine on that August 18th by Monsignor Luis Stokler and Father Rodolfo. On this day of very special graces, the One Thousand Hail Marys will begin at 10:00 a.m., in a chain of solidarity and love that has never been broken.

"To consecrate yourself to Mary, is to place yourself at her disposal, it is to listen, to hear when the Blessed Mothr speaks, it is to be at her service, to be a servant of God", said the missionaries of Goya, in the Province of Corrientes. As on every 18th, the Rosary that is prayed is also united to the commitment to the precious inheritance of social work of Joao Pozzobon. Whoever wishes, can donate medicine, clothes, shoes, food, that will be donated to Carita of the Parish of Our Lady of Itati, these items may be taken to the wayside shrine on that day, the invitation explains. On the 18th of August, the anniversary of the Campaign in Goya, whoever wishes, can present the Blessed Mother a rosary of food, each bead of the rosary will be a bag of food that will donated to Caritas of Our Lady of Itati.

Forty-five Pilgrim MTA’s travel in the diocese

Currently there are 45 Pilgrim MTA’s traveling in the Diocese of Goya, asking that the rosary be prayed, the presence of these Pilgrim MTA’s makes 600 families very happy. On the last Sunday of June, Lila, a young mother, received Pilgrim Shrine number 45 in Goya – she was very excited. She belongs to a group of music ministry and she emotionally dedicated a beautiful song to the Blessed Mother. On that day the choir sang: Mary of he Covenant, I Consecrate Myself to You, Someday We Will Move Mountains, and also The Hummingbird, which everyone likes very much!

"Special gratitude expressed to the Schoenstatt Family"

On Friday, Beatriz, another missionary, took the Pilgrim MTA to the novena of the Blessed Mother of Itati, where different communities take their images, that were placed on a large table. At a given moment someone asked who the Pilgrim MTA belonged to, at first Beatriz did not hear, and when she realized that they were referring to her image, she thought she was supposed to remove it from the table where the other images and saints and Blessed Mothers of different titles were placed. Very embarrassed, she said it was hers, then a lady told her where she should be, Beatriz’ heart skipped a beat! The Blessed Mother entered the Mass with name: Schoenstatt Prayer Group."!

Another lady was present who had a picture that belongs to an MTA Wayside Shrine in San Cayetano and this lady also took the picture in procession. After the procession of the Mass at Our Lady of Itati, patroness of Corrientes, Father Eduardo, expressed his gratitude to everyone who collaborated with the parish, then he said: "I want to express special gratitude to the Schoenstatt, who silently prays the rosary every day and every 18th they donate to Caritas of our parish. I have not shown my appreciation to them; therefore, today I say Thank You!" Beatriz almost died of joy since she is always present, to help, like many other missionaries, but until now they had never received a word of encouragement from the pastor. And suddenly, she heard this: Prayer and work done in silence bears fruit…
