CHILE, SAN FERNANDO, Jaime Valenzuela/ Hernan Macay. The Schoenstatt Family of San Fernando celebrated this 18th of June, Covenant of Love Day, in a very special way, it was the day of the blessing of the Shrine in Quito, Ecuador, and a very special visitor arrived: the of the Blessed Mother for the Shrine. They all hope, moved by the yearnings and desires of offering everything, including the smallness and the limitations, that she will decide to stay there forever, in this Shrine that is being built with so much effort and affection.

This image is a gift of the community of the Sisters of Mary to the San Fernando Family, for the altar of the future Shrine.

It comes from the Shrine of Bellavista

On Tuesday, June 7th a representation from the San Fernando Family went to fetch the MTA picture from Bellavista, at the Cenacle Shrine. The picture was waiting at this holy place under the care of the Sisters of Mary who were constantly in prayer for the future Shrine. Then they took her to the Church of the Holy Spirit, where Father Jaime Ochgavia presented this image for San Fernando after Mass. The MTA arrived full of graces!

Pilgrimage through the Family and the Church of San Fernando

The official arrival to San Fernando was on the 18th of June. Father Horacio Rivas celebrated a beautiful Eucharist in which all the branches of the Movement participated. The image will go on pilgrimage through all the houses with Home Shrines, through the different institutions and schools, where

the Pilgrim MTA is received...The Allies and the Pioneers (generations of the Schoenstatt Boys' Youth) will receive it and it will also visit the four parishes in San Fernando. It is a moment to remember the words of the Father and Founder, when he addressed the first sodalists on the 18th of October 1914.

"Undoubtedly, we could not accomplish a greater apostolic deed nor leave our successor a more precious legacy than to urge our Lady and Queen to erect her throne here in a special way, to distribute her treasures, and to work miracles of grace".

All the founding generation of San Fernando has been invited personally by the Mother of Our Lord Jesus Christ; this generation has been chosen one by one through the "Blessed are you among women", it has been given special graces through "the servant of the Lord", not for her

talents, but for her great love of Mother and Queen, to be a participant and to contribute with all the Capital of Grace to truly transform this land into a holy place for Chile and all the world, for this time and the times to come. So that from here miracles of grace will be worked to collaborate in the salvation of the world.

How could we not be full of joy with this opportunity to receive her in San Fernando, to make each family sensitive to the great event that will be celebrated on next November 12th, when San Fernando will a place where the eighteenth Schoenstatt Shrine will be built on Chilean ground!
