ROME, mkf. Terezinha and Nivaldo Abram, guardians of the Matri Ecclesiae Shrine in Rome, had an idea as the feast of Saint Joseph (come March 19) approached: They want to ask for his intercession and protection for the ongoing construction at Belmonte. All you like to join in the prayer are encouraged to do so.

PRAYER TO SAINT JOSEPH

for the construction of the Schoenstatt International Center, Belmonte, Roma

Oh, glorious Saint Joseph, worthy spouse of the the Virgin Mary! To you we direct our confident prayer full of hope.

To you, to whom God entrusted the care of the Holy Family of Nazareth, we humbly ask that you be the Father,

Protector and Guardian of the Schoenstatt International Center in Belmonte. Take under your protection the project and the construction of this Center, desired by Father Joseph Kentenich since

1937, and protect the persons who have pledged to accomplish this work.

Come as our helper and provide all the necessary means for its construction, so that this Center can shelter the pilgrims

from all the world who come here looking for the gifts of the Spirit and as a testimony of their love for the Church.

Oh, Saint Joseph, receive and answer our prayer! We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ, Our Lord. Amen.
