ROMA, Nivaldo & Terezinha Abram. The coordinators of the Campaign and the families that receive the visit of the Schoenstatt Pilgrim MTA met on March 6th, at 10:00 a.m., in Santa Gemma Parish, to which the Matri Ecclesiae Shrine belongs, to participate in Holy Mass, a few days short of the sixth month since the blessing of the Matri Ecclesiae Shrine on September 8, 2005, where the Campaign had an outstanding presence. The main celebrant of this Mass was Father Ludovico Tedeschi, of the Institute of Schoenstatt Fathers, Assessor of the Campaign of Italy. The pastor, Father Federico, participated with his well known joy! There are 20 Pilgrim MTAs visiting the families of the parish where the Matri Ecclesiae Shrine is located.

At the beginning of the celebration, the Pilgrim MTA's were placed in front of the altar. The church was filled to capacity, it seemed like a wedding celebration. The coordinators were happy to see so many of their families present, accompanying them.

During the homily, two coordinators and a little coordinator shared their testimonies, each one told their experience and the conquest that the Blessed Mother is working in the families.

The Pilgrim MTA that was crowned and sent from Santa Maria, cradle of the Campaign

During the offertory procession, the son of two of the coordinators took the Pilgrim MTA that was sent from Tabor Shrine, in Santa Maria, Brazil - the second daughter Shrine - as a special gift to the Matri Ecclesiae Shrine on the occasion of its blessing. This image was crowned on September of 2004 during the Centennial Congress of John Pozzobon, the initiator of the Rosary Campaign of the Schoenstatt Pilgrim MTA (Schoenstatt Rosary Campaign), that today is in more than 95 countries in the world. Pozzobon walked more than 140,000 kilometers with the Original Pilgrim MTA on his shoulder, taking it to visit homes, schools, prisons, and hospitals.

She is the great missionary, She will work miracles

Before the end of the Holy Mass, all the coordinators stood in front of the altar and with Father Ludovico they prayed the prayer of commissioning (or sending forth), then they sang the Hymn of the Pilgrim MTA. It was clearly felt that they were assuming this mission of evangelization within the families with great love. When the Mass ended some persons came forward to enroll in the Campaign.

Today there are 20 Pilgrim MTA's, each one visiting 10 families, which represents a total of 200 families that are visited monthly.

The visit of the Blessed Mother to the families is working great miracles of transformation. Many persons are going to the Shrine in thanksgiving for some event in their life, or that of a family member, friend, or neighbor. There are also some pilgrims faithful in praying the Rosary and attending Hoy Mass on Saturdays. They have developed a very deep bond with the Shrine, Mary, and the Pilgrim MTA. Before this reality we can say with and like Mary: "The Lord has done marvelous deeds..." We recall what the Bishop of Santa Maria, Monsignor Victor Luiz Sartori, affirmed on May 22, 1970, on his death bed, when he received the visit of the Orignal Pilgrim Shrine: "This Campaign will save the world!"

The construction in Belmonte is advancing

Since last week the construction in Belmonte is going at full force. This week the concrete foundation will be ready.
