CHILE, Andres Espinoza, On Saturday, the 19th of March, at 11:00 a.m., a great number of people were present for the priestly and diaconate Ordination of three brothers of the Community of the Schoenstatt Fathers. Beltran Gomez, of Parana, Argentina, and Rodrigo Fajardo, of Chile received their diaconate ordination, while Andres Larrain, of Chile, was ordained as a priest.
This celebration took place in Bellavista, in a beautiful ceremony with close to 1,200 persons in attendance, in the Church of the Holy Spirit close of National Shrine. It was a great Schoenstatt Family celebration, that was strongly experienced by all, in a familial and joyful atmosphere. The celebration was presided by Cardinal Francisco Javier Errazuriz, who spoke to the candidates for ordination in a very warm and affectionate tone. Also present were approximately 45 Schoenstatt Fathers, the seminarians from the Joseph Kentenich Major Seminary were also present; accompanied by the Sisters of Mary, the Institute of Our Lady of Schoenstatt, the Brothers of Mary, diocesan priests, Family and Federation Institutes, with the support of many members of the Boys Youth... it was truly a family celebration.
On Palm Sunday, the newly ordained priest, Andres Larrain celebrated his first Mass in the Shrine of Bellavista at 5:00 p.m.
