NIGERIA, Fr. Johnson Nellissery/mkf. "You are most welcome to the camp if you are still in your teens, if you want to know more about Schoenstatt, and to join the Schoenstatt Youth" What sounds like a common invitation to an event sponsored by the Schoenstatt Youth, indeed is much more, because it is an invitation to participate in the first-ever Schoenstatt Youth Camp in Nigeria. At the end of the camp, 13 boys and girls will seal their Covenant of Love, and form the first two groups of Schoenstatt Youth in Nigeria, a new beginning in the West African country, that so far, has a Shrine, Schoenstatt Fathers and seminarians, and the Schoenstatt Rosary Campaign.

Some seminarians of the Schoenstatt Fathers' Community together with Fr. Johnson Nellissery, want to organize a two-day Youth Camp on February 19th and 20th at the Shrine of the Mother Thrice Admirable, in Ibadan. The students who are organizing the camp invite all in the Schoenstatt Movement to be part of this new beginning - even if they are no longer in their teens or living in Nigeria! With spiritual, and, if possible, financial contributions, everybody can participate. In gratitude for these spiritual and/or financial contributions, the seminarians are offering a Holy Hour for the private intentions of all those who participate, on February 18th, from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. in the Shrine. They invite spiritual and financial supporters to send in their prayer intentions.

The organizers of the Youth Camp did not want to ask the Schoenstatt Fathers' Community for financial assistance for their activities, but took upon themselves the  responsibility of covering all expenses, including food, for these two days, with the help of sponsors. The first donation came from one of the students, Naira 200, (about US$1.5.)

You are thanked in anticipation of your support.

I/We
wish to support the Schoenstatt Youth Apostolate and particularly the forth-coming Youth Camp:
with the sum of
  Naira/Euro
and with the spiritual support of
