WYD, Kathrin Bieler (Translation: Nadia Ries): Following the successful "Ship-Tickets", which were used in October 2004 for the days spent with the WYD-Cross and Vigin Mary icon, the Schönstatt WYD-Project Office has developed a new fundraising idea. In order to obtain financial means for the Festival, supporters can now purchase meal voucher, which the project office is selling.
The festival's motto is "Our way to Christ". In order to be well on our way, we need good preparation, plenty of prayers and, of course, the necessary financial support.
Everyone can contribute to even the way. By purchasing a meal voucher, you not only support the youth festival, but can also send your very special greeting to the participants.
A meal and a greeting - two-in-one!
The purchase of a meal voucher for 2,50 € symbolically finances a meal for one particpant of the youth festival.
One side of the voucher is a souvenir-reminder of your donation and the other is a personal greeting for the guests, which will be displayed in the eating area during the festival.
The meal vouchers can be obtained at the Schönstatt project office World Youth Day.
