ARGENTINA,Diana Zunini. "Tommorrow, January 20th, our petition will be there with the Father, since we have already sent an email, the name of our young friend, Pedro , who always accompanies us on the pilgrimages of Paso Mayor with his guitar, his ideas and his charisma, will also be there. This year he will go to the seminary," writes Diana Zunini, a coordinator of the Rosary Campaign of Bahia Blanca. "When we read Tita Rios' reflections, we also got excited, thinking that perhaps very soon we would be there personally, since my husband and I plan to go to Schoenstatt this year... ." To go to Schoenstatt like John Pozzobon did, having a a very profound encounter with Father Kentenich like he did, this is a desire born of "walking with John Pozzobon" in the Schoenstatt Rosary Campaign, as it was manifested in a very deep manner during the celebration of John Pozzobon's centennial celebration last December 12th.

On that day, the communities of Cabildo, Punta Alta and Bahia Blanca, accompanied by their brothers of the archdiocese, crowned the Auxiliary of the vicarship of the North as Queen of the Schoenstatt Rosary Campaign. The Auxiliary of the vicarship of the East was present, that will be crowned on March 13, 2005 en Paso Mayor.

Yes Father, yes, John Pozzobon

About 200 pilgrims, along with Fathers Juan D'Amico and Daniel Jany, congregated in front of the John Pozzobon Wayside Shrine, a replica of the one he built in the patio of his home, and they started the pilgrimage through the property of the Shrine, visiting each of the significant places.

At the Wayside Shrine they remembered the moment that Sister Teresinha entrusted the first image to John Pozzobon, asking the Blessed Mother to give them the strength and the courage that encouraged John Pozzobon in his mission.

Then at the Father Kentenich Memorial they evoked the encounter of Father with John Pozzobon. It was a very emotional moment when the dialogues of the encounter between the two of them was enacted and everyone promised: "Yes Father, yes John Pozzobon, we want to take Mary verywhere like you did."

Immediately afterwards, they went singing towards the "Father House" where Father Maibach and Father Kentenich rested and joined the community at a dance more than 50 years ago, repeating the words that Father Kentenich said at that place: "we give ourselves anew to the Mother of God with the intention that She will take the scepter in her hand..."

Then in the Founder’s Room, built as a place of shelter for the pilgrims, they remembered the necessity of bonding with and encountering each other as a family, as Father always taught and John Pozzobon embodied in his life.

Praying and singing they walked 200 meters through the grounds until they reached the gate that leads to the Shrine. There they made an act of humility that John Pozzobon carried out every morning when he kissed the ground, listening to the voice from heaven, so that this would be one more day of life destined to propagate the Reign of the Mother and Queen to give glory to the Father.

Then they visited the Fountain, the water mill that provided the water that was blessed last year (2004), where they repeated with John Pozzobon: "Water from the Mother and Queen is like a powerful weapon, it combats fire and it can also calm our restlessness and give our hearts peace.

"You can send those who consecrate themselves to you today to the ends of the earth!

In this manner, they finally arrived at the Shrine where they offered a prayer to John Pozzobon:
"Thank you for the person you were, thank you that with your life and death, you left a luminous example of what a man can do when he gives himself entirely to God and to his mission! Thank you because you showed us how, ultimately, holiness is born and can only be the fruit of love! Recalling very well when you spoke to us of those who are "crazy of love." Thank you because you were loyal to the end, dying in your loyalty on the way to the Shrine. Will you allow me to express a wish? That by your heroic giving of self other John Pozzobons will emerge in all the nations of the world, and that like you, they will discover the riches that you discovered.

The following act that took place was the crowning. Before crowning the Auxiliary, the words of John Pozzobon were repeated: "The words I spoke in the Shrine in Santa Maria, with the pilgrims from Argentina, I will repeat again: that I accompany and give my life so that this Campaign will become worldwide. And I do not take back this word: I am with you." The Blessed Mother was crowned as Queen of the Campaign, telling the Blessed Mother that they met her walking through life, and their life changed; and they are now walking in the mission, following the footsteps of John Pozzobon. Also offering their work, Capital of Grace and with the Crown (made from wood that was part of the old floor of the Shrine, sacred foundation of the Shrine), they implore faith and hope to be able to carry out the mission in loyalty, with strength, security and courage, sowing peace and love. Finally they said:You can send those who consecrated themselves to you today to the ends of the earth!"

The celebration ended with Holy Mass, during which, each community offered the crowns that had been made as Capital of Grace for this Crowning Feast. Some were big, others small, some were made of paper flowers, others of fabric, or made with wild flowers, but all represented the love and sacrifice for the mission: "To take the Blessed Mother's triumphal carriage everywhere."
