Rome: Rome Pilgrimage of the "Friends of the Shrine Matri Ecclesiae"
Approximately 50 persons will make a pilgrimage to Rome from December 3 through December 8; this annual pilgrimage of the "Friends of the Shrine Matri Ecclesiae" - the International Schoenstatt Shrine in Rome promised to Father Kentenich on his 80th birthday celebrated in Rome on November 16, 1965 - was planned long before the building permission was granted in September. Now, this pilgrimage will first of all be a pilgrimage in gratitude for the permission and of anticipation of the future shrine. Highlights of the pilgrimage will be the visit to the land of the future Shrine and Center on December 5, a visit to the House of the Sisters of Divine Providence where Father Kentenich lived during most of the time of his stay in Rome in 1965, and a Holy Mass at the Cor Ecclesiae Shrine of the Schoenstatt Sisters of Mary in Rome on December 8, the anniversary of the symbolic corner stone laying that Father Kentenich did on December 8, 1965, together with the representatives of the Schoenstatt family present in Rome at that time.

Brazil, Londrina: Christmas Cantata in Londrina with approximately 6,000 participants
The Colégio Mãe de Deus (Mother of God school) in Londrina/PR, on come december 7 will present the Ninth Christmas Cantata with about 250 persons actively involved. The singers are students, teachers, sisters, administrative personell, and students' parents who will sing from the 32 illumined and especially decorated large windows of the school. The Cantata is scheduled to begin at 9:00 PM. The event is supported by the Cultural Department of the city of Londrina and sponsored by Norpave.
An audience of approximately 6,000 persons is expected to join in the show of lights and voices.

Argentina, Comodoro Rivadavia, Patagona: Feast of the Rain of Petals
On December 8, in Comodoro Rivadavia, by the Shrine close to the Atlantic Oceal, the "Shrine of Sea and Peace", the Feast of the Rain of Petas and of the Holy Water will be celebrated. This is something really special and emotional for all those present. People get the Holy Water for their Christmas celebration, and blessed petals of flowers are strewn from a helicopter as sign of the love of the Blessed Mother, and of her blessings. A big number of citizens from the town and around will be participating in this event.

Christmas, Feast of Peace and Love - Anniversary of the "Mariengarten" and the "Miracle of the Holy Night"
In Schoenstatt, the Christmas Mass will begin at 11.45 PM. The entire Schoenstatt family is represented there as the Miracle of the Holy Night is celebrated there, on the anniversary of the founding of the "Mariengarten" in 1941, and the Father Kentenich's return to Schoenstatt after 14 years of exile, considered by himself and the Schoenstatt family as the fulfillment of the new "Miracle of the Holy Night" so much longed for during all the years as a miracle of inner freedom, and the inbreak of the divine in the covenant of love.

Schoenstatt: Ten minutes by the crib
December 26, 2002, through January 5, 2002, the "Ten minutes by the crib" will again attract thousands in Schoenstatt, and at several Schoenstatt Centers in Germany and beyond. The idea of writing the names of loved ones on paper stars to be given to the Christchild meanwhile spread to many countries.s
