August 18, 2001Córdoba, Argentina: "Feast of Solidarity and Hope"More than 5,000 participants are expected to join in the Annual Feast of the Schoenstatt Pilgrim Mother Campaign at the Shrine in Villa Warcalde, Córdoba. The feast begins with a procession, led by flags and the Auxiliaries of the dioceses present. Illumined rosary, adoration of the Blessed Sacrament and the "Thousand Hail Marys" are offered for the Church, the country in its difficult economical situation, for the beatification of Father Kentenich and Don João Pozzobon who initiated the Schoenstatt Pilgrim Mother Campaign, and for all the Schoenstatt activities on this day anywhere in the world. The talks and activities of the "Feast of Solidarity and Hope" intend to inspire the missionaries and the families who are visited by the Pilgrim Mother to actively contribute to the life of the local church as family of God. The highlight of the day will be the Holy Mass at 5:00 PM during which the missionaries will renew their Covenant of Love and commitment as missionaries. Rosita Alvarado, Córdoba
August 22, 2001Schoenstatt/Croatia: Covenant of Love of the Croatian Schoenstatt MovementOn August 18, eighty pilgrims from Croatia will arrive in Schoenstatt. The highlight of their pilgrimage will be the constitution of Croatian Schoenstatt Movement with the Covenant of Love sealed by all in Schoenstatt on August 22, the feast of the Mary the Queen. Schoenstatt in Croatia (then Yugoslavia) began already in the '70s; after the war on the Balcans, it was especially the initiative of the Schoenstatt Pilgrim Mother that made Schoenstatt popular in Croatia and the neighboring countries of former Yugoslavia. More than 300 pictures of the Pilgrim Mother are visiting families in Croatia, on August 24, fifty new pictures will be blessed and sent out. Fr. Christoph Horn September 2, 2001Schoenstatt: Reception of novices of the Schoenstatt Sisters of MaryOn the day of the reception of young women from Germany, Puerto Rico, the Dominican Republic, the Philippines, and Romania, the Schoenstatt Sisters of Mary invite all to celebrate with them and to get to know more about the Schoenstatt Sisters of Mary, who celebrate their 75th anniversary this year. In the afternoon, the Adoration Sisters open the doors for a closer look. Displays and a video will be presented in the Mother House. Highlights from the 75 years of the Schoenstatt Sisters' history will be presented in the hall of the Adoration Church. The Schoenstatt Girls' Youth will prepare a program for young people on Saturday and Sunday.
September 15, 2001Anniversary of the death of Father KentenichOn September 15, 1968, feast of the Seven Sorrows of Mary, Father Kentenich, the Founder of Schoenstatt, died in the sacristy of the Adoration Church after the first Holy Mass he had celebrated in this church. All over the world, Schoenstatt members and friends remember the anniversary of his death. In Schoenstatt, Father Angel Strada, postulator of the process of beatification, will give a talk; afterwards, the Father Kentenich statue of the Sisters will be presentend to the public. Araraquara, Brazil: Dedication of the Shrine "Home of Victorious Joy"In Araraquara, Brazil, a new Schoenstatt Shrine will be dedicated. This Shrine is a gift of gratitude, marking the two thousand years since Christ's birth and the 500 years of Evangelization of Brazil. "Araraquara", in the indigenous language Tupi, means "home of the sun". The name and mission of the Shrine is "Home of Victorious Joy", with the sun being the central symbol on the logo of the Shrine that is depicted on the invitation for the dedication. The bishop of the diocese of São Carlos, D. Joviano de Lima Júnior, SSS, will be the main celebrant in the Holy Mass at 5:00 PM, and solemnly dedicate the Shrine. The cornerstone of this new Shrine was laid on October 22, 2000, with approximately 1,000 persons present. Schoenstatt in Araraquara and from there in the diocese of São Carlos began in 1980 as fruit of the periodic visits of Schoenstatt Sisters who were invited by a parish priest who felt called to work for the spread of Schoenstatt in his town. In 1981 the first Sisters arrived to work at Saint Gerald's parish in Araraquara. The Schoenstatt Rosary Campaign of the Pilgrim Mother is very strong in Araraquara; when the construction of the Shrine began in 2000, 452 Pilgrim Mother pictures had been distributed in Araraquara, and a total 1816 of Pilgrim pictures in the entire diocese of São Carlos.

The Family Movement of Cordova is preparing a big celebration for the day of the groundbreaking ceremonies. September 30, 2001Schoenstatt: Celebration of the 75th anniversary of the Schoenstatt Sisters of MaryRepresentatives of church and society and of the Schoenstatt movement, are invited to celebrate with the Schoenstatt Sisters of Mary the 75th anniversary of their founding (October 1, 1926). The Schoenstatt Sisters' gift for of gratitude on behalf of their jubilee is a bronze statue of the Founder, placed in front of the Father Kentenich House on Mount Schoenstatt.
