Original Shrine re-opened all shiny and new

As of February 1st, the Original Shrine has re-opened, resuming all its activities as usual.—

The interior restoration of the Original Shrine is finished and some stages are lacking on the exterior, because they could not be completed as planned due to the recent cold and snow.

Our beloved shrine with its open doors and refurbished, bright interior, welcomed us back home on the eve of Candlemas.

During three weeks, the Blessed Mother and Jesus made a short pilgrimage throughout all of Schoenstatt, while all the painting and wiring took place in the interior and exterior of the Shrine, and all the symbols went on pilgrimage to homes and communities.

The Crown, Unity Cross, the Father Symbol, St. Paul, St. Peter, the MTA Picture among others were given to people and communities who offered to take care of them during repair period mentioned, while others, such as St. Michael, the Altar, and the altar pieces went to workshops for a bit of restoration and cleaning.

Once again the Shrine opened on February 1st displaying its new sheen, thanks not only to paint and new lighting, but also through the prayers every home and community provided with our symbols, and for the tireless work of everyone involved in the refurbishment of our Shrine.

There are a series of improvements in regard to the sound system within and outside of the Shrine, and, when all the exterior work is finished, we will have 24/7 Live Stream that will enable us to go on pilgrimage to the Shrine every day.

Now can we get going on the Exile Shrine? “We own it”. “I see Her as my home, my fortress and my constantly flowing source of joy.” Capitol of graces?
