The IKAF (International Kentenich Academy for Executives), together with P. Michael Hagan (ISch), is offering a silent retreat for executives from 01 – 05 December 2019 for the second time. The venue will be the Schoenstatt Center Memhölz in the Allgäu region of Germany, which invites you to breathe deeply with its landscape and location.—
One participant in the pilot project last year still enthuses today: “What particularly appealed to me last time was the experience of simply being able to dive into silence. In spite of a very busy, professional life until shortly before the beginning of the retreat, it was suddenly possible to allow silence, to endure it and to really listen to what God has to say. I still feel this to this day and feel how good it did me. I was also able to take things with me for everyday life, methods that I can implement well, even in the office or while travelling. And the very best: when I “reappeared” after 4 days, not only was this new strength noticeable again, but the desk in the office and all things that had “pushed and pressed” before were somehow classified and sorted out. You could start with new clarity.”
Father Kentenich, founder of the International Schoenstatt Community, was not only a gifted teacher, but also a great spiritual director. He was able to open people’s souls, to broaden their vision through impulses, and to revive the inner process of growth.
The silent retreats offer enough time to again get back on track of our personal mission: “What is my personal mission – today?
“Where aspirations grow, the soul grows wings, where we want to reach the highest… and for this we need to be touched by our personal mission.” (Father Joseph Kentenich)
