Salvadoran Madrugadores celebrate one year

EL SALVADOR, Mauricio Salazar •

On Saturday, November 10th, Madrugadores in El Salvador celebrated their first anniversary.  —

A year ago, we were just seven people meeting to pray once a month, but in June, we started meeting twice a month. Usually the meetings are held on the first and third Saturday of the month at Divine Child Parish, at 6:00 am, with the support and wise direction of Fr. Edwin Henríquez.

After prayer at the parish, we usually have coffee and pastry for those who can and want to stay. Many of our brothers have to leave for work, but others stay for the 7:00 am Mass.

Three times this year, we have met after prayer and Mass for a breakfast celebrating Madrugadore’s birthdays.

We have already registered forty people that have attended our prayer meetings, and many of them come regularly.

On Saturday, November 10th, twenty-three Madrugadores gathered to pray and to celebrate our anniversary. Then sixteen of us attended a breakfast and Fr. Edwin joined us.
