On 28 March 2015, the coordinators, missionaries and families of the Schoenstatt Rosary Campaign and some members of the Rosario de Hombres Madre y Reina [Mother and Queen Rosary of Men] gathered for the annual training meeting held at the Quixadá Diocesan Pastoral Center.
During the morning, they listened attentively to the explanations about the theme for the year: “With you Father, Family in Covenant: holiness and mission!” The DVD, “Cuál es el secreto de su corazón?” [“What is your heart’s secret?”], helped them to better know the person, life and charism of the Father and Founder, Father Joseph Kentenich.
During the afternoon, people from different places gathered for the re-enacting the experience the picture of the MTA’s arrival to the Original Shrine; with dedication and without previous practice, they made a beautiful presentation.
The seminarians from the Quixadá Diocese generously collaborated as special “actors”.
People began to live in peace
Father Francisco Octaviano, the young rector of the diocesan seminary, celebrated the closing Mass.
In his homily, he gave a beautiful testimony about his experiences with the mission of the Pilgrim Mother while he was still a seminarian. He said that along with the missionaries, they had taken the Pilgrim MTA to a very poor town, where there was much violence, yet since the Pilgrim Mother’s arrival there, everything changed.
The families united, and in a short time, three Pilgrim MTAs traveled throughout the area, where people began to live in peace. His words encouraged the coordinators and missionaries for this new beginning after the Schoenstatt centenary.
