The big day has arrived: Monte Reina School begins its activities

MEXICO, Gaby de la Garza •

Full of joy we want to share with you this great news, today, Monday, August 30, 2021, the first Schoenstatt School in Mexico, Monte Reina, opened its doors to begin activities for this school year. —

Just as when you are about to move into a new house, at the last minute there are thousands of small – and not so small – details that need to be fixed. So last weekend was a lot of work to finish cleaning, decorating and removing construction materials, but all of this was done with great enthusiasm thinking of the smiles on the children’s faces when they arrived at their new school!

Even though the governmental guidelines for the return to classes were changing all the time, due to the fact that the Covid-19 pandemic is still wreaking havoc, the Head of School, Judith Gonzalez, told us yesterday that more than being nervous, she was excited and happy to receive the little ones who will be the first students.

We are all part of this story!

This long-dreamed project begins in a difficult time full of challenges in the world, not only in health but also in social and economic terms. But it became a reality thanks to the work of many people who in one way or another and over several years, have given their time, knowledge, economic contributions and above all, a lot of “capital of grace” to ask the Blessed Mother to reveal herself in our city. From there, She will continue to form men and women to build a better society. Thus, we are all part of this story because we gave our hearts to this great work.

Dear reader, we invite you to join us in our joy and support us with your prayers so that this is only the beginning of a great story.

Congratulations, Schoenstatt Monterrey family!
