My name is José Alejandro, I am training as an Augustinian Recollect, and I am writing to you from Venezuela. It is a great joy for me to tell you about the affection and devotion that I feel for the person of the Servant of God, Father Joseph Kentenich.
Two years ago, shortly before I began my religious training, my spiritual director showed him to me as an example, with the aim of giving me an example of loyalty to the Lord Jesus. Since that moment, I have entrusted my vocation to Fr. Kentenich’s intercession. He is the model I want to imitate in configuring myself in Christ, the supreme and eternal Priest, and thus achieve my own holiness.
When I entrust myself to Fr. Kentenich’s intercession, I also pray to God for his prompt beatification, since I believe that he is a great model who can lead us to Jesus.
The reason that I am writing to you is to request a holy card with a second-degree relic of this Servant of God for my special devotion, if you agree and if it is possible. Next year I will be sent for the novitiate experience, and I would like to take that relic with me…
