POPE FRANCIS – JUBILEE 2025, editorial team •
In the aftermath of the pandemic, Pope Francis believes that the upcoming Jubilee 2025 can contribute greatly to restoring a climate of hope and trust as a prelude to the renewal and rebirth that we so urgently desire; that is why I have chosen as the motto of the Jubilee, Pilgrims of Hope.” —
After the two years of the Covid-19 pandemic that the world has experienced, the Holy Father considers that “the flame of hope that has been given us and help everyone to gain new strength and certainty by looking to the future with an open spirit, a trusting heart and far-sighted vision.” So, he says in a letter dated and released on February 11, 2022, by the Holy See Press Office-to Msgr. Rino Fisichella, president of the Pontifical Council for Promoting the New Evangelization, the dicastery in charge of organizing the 2025 Jubilee, and responsible for finding appropriate ways to prepare for it.
“It is worth reading. A simple invitation and a preparation for the Jubilee that we can all do together”, commented Paz Leiva, Madrid, when yesterday we spread the letter among the collaborators of schoenstatt.org.
The Pope speaks of pandemic and hope, of intense faith and operative charity, of synodality and responsible participation, “with the valorization of the charisms and ministries that the Holy Spirit never ceases to grant for the edification of the one Church”.
