The General Secretariat for the Synod of Bishops has announced the launch of a website in preparation for the 15th Ordinary General Assembly under the theme “Youth, faith and vocational discernment,” which will take place in October 2018. The website is already available at this address: http://youth.synod2018.va (for the moment it’s only available in Italian but other languages will follow soon.

This initiative will promote greater participation by all the youth of the world, not only by receiving information about the synod but also through interaction and participation during the preparation phase.
In particular, the website has an online questionnaire directed at the youth in various languages (English, Italian, French, Spanish and Portuguese). Responses should be sent to the General Secretariat before 30 November 2017. They will be very useful during the preparation for the Synod and will form part of the wide-ranging consultation that the General Secretariat is carrying out at various levels among the People of God.
