Three questions…about the Schoenstatt of the second century of the Covenant (23)

Today, Rafael Gualberto Ortiz Moreno, better known as Beto Ortiz, engineer, answers: I am a member of Course 12, Pilares del Santuario, [Pillars of the Shrine] of the Paraguayan Family Federation and first course in Ciudad del Este. Married to Magdalena (Lena) Barros Ortiz and father of Tatiana, Rafael and Guillermo

Six months into the pilgrimage through the second century of the Covenant of Love…what is your dream for this Schoenstatt in who we are and where we find ourselves in the Church, in the world, and in our mission?

I dream of a new way of evangelizing through the Blessed Mother with people of different ages: youths, mothers, couples and to make the Father and Founder’s charism known.

In order to fulfill this dream, what do we need to avoid or leave behind?

We have to leave our comfort zones, and thus drop the elitist label, interacting with people from all social classes.

In order to fulfill this dream, what practical steps do we have to take?

We should assume our role as small instruments, forming (training ourselves) and growing to be ready to “set out.”
