Sending forth of Father Symbol to Mexico

mev. A simple ceremony for the sending forth of the Father Symbol was held in the Original Shrine during the night blessing; it will arrive in Mexico, via Milwaukee, in the coming days.

The Father Symbol returned to Schoenstatt on January 28th, after a brief visit to Italy.

The  Neiser family, who traveled to Milwaukee along with the General Presidency on January 30th, took it with them, and there it will be picked up to arrive to its destination:  Mexico.

“We are happy and are grateful that the Father Symbol accompanies us here this night.  We are also grateful for this international pilgrimage and its fruits, for all those who come to encounter the Father Symbol,” said Sister Marion, who is in charge of the worldwide pilgrimage of the Symbol.

One heart in the Father

Sister Miriam from Mexico was present in the Shrine to receive the Symbol. Despite that she will not take it to her country, she represented the Schoenstatt Family from Mexico, who is preparing to welcome it.

Sister Miriam said a spontaneous prayer in which she asked that Father through his presence in this symbol be a factor of unity for the Mexican people, so that they may be “a Heart in Father continuing to build the Schoenstatt Family for the Church,”  Father Nöthen was in charge of the night blessing, and when he presented the symbol to Sister Miriam he said:  “You know our great desire that this Symbol will one day be placed in the Shrine; now it continues on its way setting hearts ablaze and attaching them to this place.”

The Neiser family then quickly approached the altar; they are the Superior Generals of the Institute of Families – who joyfully took the Symbol to Milwaukee, where the meeting of the General Presidency is taking place.
