Last Saturday, November 25, members of the Family Work League of La Plata made the Renewal of Consecration as members of the League in the Shrine of Liberation. During the Mass of the Family Work, which is celebrated on the fourth Saturday of each month, the members of the League of all ages decided to renew their membership commitment. —
Jimena and Alejandra Fascizewski, Cecilia and Diego Pelassini, Luis and Lorena Folonier, Héctor and Norma Pavía, Ricardo and Carmen Della Motta, Francisco and Elizabeth (from eternal heaven) Carrera and Bubby and Mirta (from eternal heaven) Rezzónico, did so at the end of the Mass celebrated by their adviser, Father Javier Arteaga, with the presence of several Covenant brothers and sisters from the different branches of the Schoenstatt Movement.
During the homily, Father Javier highlighted the commitment and the task of the members of the League who once again gave their Yes to the Blessed Mother, to the Church, to the world and to all the task that they carry out for the family of La Plata.
During the very beautiful and concrete homily, Father Javier spoke to us about the selfie culture, of the self in the use of the cell phone, showing what one (the self) constantly does… it is good to have a high self-esteem… but many times it can be counterproductive. Look at the tires, putting 30 pounds on them is fine… but if we put many more pounds on them they will surely explode… That is why it is good to move from the I to the you… to the we, as has been transmitted for many years by the members who are renewing their commitment today to their accomplished task.
The bell of the sanctuary rang out
The leaders of the Family Work, Romina and Ariel Guzzeti, as leaders of the League and Father Javier, as adviser, received the renewal of the commitment as members of the League of the Family Work. After the renewal and consecration to the Blessed Mother, the bell of the Shrine rang for such a beautiful gesture of the members of the League to remain loyal to their commitment to serve the Church, Schoenstatt and the world in general. To renew is to live!
