The good news is going around the world: the two Catholic priests kidnapped on the night of April 30 in southern Nigeria are free. —
Father Chochos Kunav, a member of the Secular Institute of the Schoenstatt Fathers, and Father Ralph Ogigba, clergyman of the Diocese of Warri, parish priest of St. Francis Church in Agbara Otor, Ughelli North, Delta State, regained their freedom last night, May 4, after spending five nights in the hands of their captors.
“They were released yesterday. They are in good health but were hospitalized for examination. We thank all those who prayed for the early release of the two priests,” confirmed the Diocese of Warri.
The Superior of the Schoenstatt Fathers in Nigeria, Fr Kingsley, thanks all Schoenstatters for their prayers during the five days of anxiety for the life and health of Fr Chochos and his friend Fr Ralph.
