After the priestly ordination of Francisco Emanuel Molfesa at St. Peter’s Parish in the city of Rauch, we all went to share a festive moment at the grounds of Campo del Cielo, where Schoenstatt has its wayside shrine and its land. —
In Campo del Cielo there were other surprises awaiting us… A large cross nailed in the place of the future and longed for Schoenstatt Shrine. Bishop Hugo Manuel Salaberry blessed it in the presence of a large number of faithful from Rauch, Tandil, Azul, Saladillo, La Plata and other neighboring towns, who had gone on pilgrimage from the parish church of St. Peter the Apostle.
The Cross of the New Unity is on pilgrimage through these lands
Also there was a “New Unity Cross” blessed in 2022 in Germany, which is traveling through different shrines of Argentina, generating a new current of life, seeking unity in Schoenstatt, the Church and the world. This Cross was brought by couples from La Plata, who attended the celebration, after having gone on pilgrimage through that city. Now it will remain in Rauch for a few days and then it will continue to the city of Azul.
The image of the Auxiliary Blessed Mother, also present in this celebration, was given to representatives of Saladillo and it will go to that place.
After so many emotions we shared some delicious chorizo sandwiches for everyone.
With our hearts on fire and with little desire to leave this place of grace, we bid farewell to the community of Rauch and we started our return, longing for the construction of the shrine in Campo de Cielo.
