On November 18, the Schoenstatt Family from San Luis gathered to share the first of two formative occasions of the groundbreaking celebration for the future Shrine along with Sr. Catalina and Fr. Alan Sosa Tello.

During the second occasion, the ground was blessed ending with the celebration of the Holy Mass on the grounds of the future Shrine.

Annual Youth Walk from San Luis to the Wayside Shrine offered for the Shrine

On November 4, the youths from San Luis took the Schoenstatt Mother Thrice Admirable on pilgrimage, in the 14th Marian Walk event, which departed on Saturday, November 4, at 4:00 pm from San Luis’ Jubilee Square. Its destination was the Wayside shrine (and site of the future shrine) of Our Lady of Schoenstatt, in the Cerros Colorados neighborhood, city of Juana Koslay, where Mass was celebrated at 8:00 pm.

The slogan was to walk in unity and to offer “everything we are and have” in prayer: joys, difficulties, sadness, dreams, intentions, our family and even our vocations. We went on pilgrimage in faith and hope with Mary and her son, Jesus,” the youth team stated.

“It certainly was an intense walk filled with song, prayer, and great unity. This was what the Blessed Mother demanded as a last effort at the end of the walk and the beginning of the Holy Mass, celebrating the memorial of her Son completely united and gathered around the altar,” commented Pedro Blanco.
