Brazil welcomes its first Schoenstatt Shrine of the new century!

BRAZIL, Ana Christina Melquíades

A new shrine is under construction in Caieiras, in the state of Sao Paulo – Brazil; we joyfully invite the entire International Schoenstatt Family to participate in the graces of this new throne for our Mother Thrice Admirable, Queen and Victress.

The construction of the Schoenstatt Shrine in Caieiras is a thirty-year dream of a solid family.

The Institute of Our Lady of Schoenstatt is present in this city’s Movement; it is responsible for this city’s family, and it is marked by the 3rd historic milestone: the 31st of May, that sealed its history with the current of graces of unity in the Bellavisa-Stuttgart parallel.

The new shrine is conquered with a great deal of capital of grace. We want to offer 31,000,000 Hail Mary(s), to prepare a worthy home our beloved Mother. Through the Hail Mary(s), we also ask God to give us the grace of creative loyalty, enthusiasm in prayer and giving of self, so that we may radically live the mission of the 31st of May in our lives, as a response to the Church and the present world.

“In the shadow of the Shrine…”

“In the shadow of this Shrine, the destiny of Church and world will be essentially co-determined for centuries to come” (e 44). If the signs do not deceive us, Schoenstatt is already like a city on the hill, like a beacon for broad circles.” (Fr. Kentenich, 04.-07.1929)

During this Marian Year in Brazil when this country recalls seventy years of the Tabor ideal, we invite everyone to be a part of this story to receive the graces of this new shrine, through the contributions of Hail Mary(s) to the capital of grace, and of that precious inheritance: a throne for our Queen, for our Queen indivisible from Christ.

One concrete way of participation is by sending Hail Mary(s) prayed for the intention of the new Shrine on our online form and that of the #SantuarioCaierias – tu construyes el santuario – campaign

The blessing of the Shrine will be 17 September 2017.

There is no website of the future shrine, but a facebook page:

You build the Shrine!
