A small initiative, “Mothers who pray for their families,” was born in June at the Shrine of Loyalty to the Father in Wiesbaden, Germany. After a long summer break, the second meeting took place on 27 September.
This hour a month is truly a gift for mothers who work; during this hour, they allow the love of the Father and the Blessed Mother to flow in their hearts through praise, adoration and petitions.
The hour passed quickly beginning with some hymns of praise, followed by an act of thanksgiving, which consisted of looking at their lives and asking: How was God present in my family? Then taking time in silent reflection before the Blessed Sacrament and before the Blessed Mother.
Depositing our capital of grace in the jar followed, and lastly, we prayed for all families, for our families, and for a family of a friend.
Today we realized a wonderful coincidence: We were just six people, but we represented five continents: Latin America, North America, Africa, Asia and Europe!
Yes, our mission is to pray for the world’s families.
Thank you, Blessed Mother, because love for you and for the Father unites everyone!
