Schoenstatt’s Girls’ Youth from Buhonga and Kamenge on pilgrimage

BURUNDI, Diomède Mujojoma •

The members of the Schoenstatt Movement’s Girls’ Youth from the parishes of Buhonga and Kamenge gathered at the Mont Sion Gikungu Schoenstatt Shrine on Saturday, 16 April 2016, to carry out a pilgrimage and to cross a Holy Door of Divine Mercy.

Upon arriving at 9:30 a.m., the Sister, who is responsible for the Schoenstatt Rosary Campaign, welcomed them, and they went in procession to the Shrine singing songs to the Blessed Mother. The Sister who accompanied them presented an introduction about the Holy Door of Divine Mercy before they entered through it. In the meantime, they recited different prayers. After passing through the Holy Door there was time for adoration of the Blessed Sacrament and for confessions, before reciting a final prayer and returning back home at 12:00 sharp.
