USA, Carlos Cantú • Indeed, an auspicious occasion took place on December 12, 2015, at the Confidentia Shrine and Schoenstatt Center in Rockport/Lamar, Texas. In 1948, Father Joseph Kentenich, our Father and Founder – while on his worldwide trip – was invited to visit Texas by the then bishop of the Corpus Christi Diocese. The bishop asked Father Kentenich to send Schoenstatt Sisters of Mary to work in his diocese. On Father Kentenich’s return through South Africa, he asked threeRead More

Their first efforts were with young girls and mothers.Read More
USA, TEXAS, by Carlos Cantú • Torrential rains and bad weather including tornados had been plaguing the state of Texas for several days. The Annual May Pilgrimage from the Brownsville Diocese was scheduled for May 24th, the feast of Pentecost. With some trepidation, but confident in the Queen of unlimited, childlike, victorious confidence, they went forward with their plans. During the night before the pilgrimage day it rained, but on the special day, there was not one drop of rain, although it had been predicted and the odds were 90%Read More
USA. By Rodrigo Fernández, Austin, Texas• What an unbelievable experience. I still can’t understand how it happened the way it did. After two months of preparation, meetings, logistic plans, forms and applications and permits and stress; the result was so much more than we could have planned. Our Blessed Mother’s hand was very tangibly felt. 1 pm at the cathedral; the cast getting ready, the police double checking the route, the pilgrims signing their release forms. The weather forecast was bad, predicting rain all afternoon. Around a hundred people showedRead More
