Three questions… about Schoenstatt of the second century of the Covenant of Love (11)

Today Lilita and Carlos Ricciardi answer: they are from La Plata, Argentina, Family, Federation, great instruments in the spread of the Family Missions and their accompaniment in prayer •

Six months into the pilgrimage through the second century of the covenant of love…what is your dream for this Schoenstatt in who we are and where we find ourselves in the Church, the world, and in our mission?

Our dream is of a missionary, parish based Schoenstatt, committed with the world, society and the Church. In which everyone united can forge Father Kentenich’s dream, placing a hand on the pulse of times and an ear to the heart of God, forging new men/women and people.

In order to fulfill this dream, what do we need to avoid or leave behind?

We should set aside egoism, to think about others and not only ourselves. We have to avoid enclosing ourselves in our small communities. Avoid the long tedious discussions that drain our strength to fulfill our apostolic mission.

In order to fulfill this dream, what practical steps do we have to take?

We should grow spiritually and apostolically, fundamentally in prayer. Our first apostolate is with the family and our daily tasks. We should give witness in our daily activities, through example, simplicity, humility and modesty. We should have a joyful and hopeful heart.

In order to fulfill this dream, what practical steps do we have to take?

We should build bridges approach others and take our message of love and of covenant.

We should feel that our neighbor is our brother/sister, extend a hand, open our heart and allow all our stream of tenderness and paternity to flow.

“An old world is in flames and another one is emerging. We do not know what risks it will have, but we feel convoked to work in it, be it as architects or masons.” Father Kentenich
