The Mass, the Table, & the World: 3 dimensions

COSTA RICA, Hugo García •

Daybreak was the usual cold, February dawn, but also, beautiful. We had everything ready since Saturday night to welcome the Madrugadores, who along with their families, confirmed they would come and share this special celebration with us— the first anniversary celebration of the Madrugadores from the Costa Rican Shrine.—

For several days, we kept a great joy and expectation for the determined confirmation of the brothers, who like us, came every dawn to tell the Blessed Mother that we love her and that we want her to be our educator.

The sun’s first rays became visible, and with them the Madrugadores from the communities of José, Heredia, Alajuela and Cartago arrived.  With the arrival of Fr. Melvin Méndez, we prepared to live the first dimension of the Madrugadores… the Mass; today was very special since it was the 18th — Covenant Day.

A Mass lived, sung, and felt in our hearts, and then the renewal of the Covenant, we lived the second dimension of the Madrugadores—the Table, where we shared, got to know one another, and we became brothers.

We left with our hearts full of joy to live the Madrugadores’ third dimension during the next fifteen days—the World, where we will try to be consistent to our Mission…to bring men to our Lord, to become Church.

The road is clear…let us be Fire; let us enkindle Life!
