Come; share your master’s joy

PARAGUAY, Joaquín Santiviago •

Joaquín Santiviago, the director of Coro Alegría, relates about the mission of this choir and its objectives.

Some time ago, the Joseph Kentenich Foundation took the initiative of offering everyone the prayer of the Holy Rosary to cultivate the spirit in daily life.

In this way, this encounter with the God of life will become more concrete through the contemplation of the mysteries of Jesus’ life and his mother. Mary. During this prayer, the Glorious, Joyful, Sorrowful and Luminous mysteries reveal the life of him, who we know loves us so much.

Through their musical talents, Schoenstatt Coro Alegría put their beautiful musical ability in service by singing profoundly from the heart.

In the parable of the Talents, the Lord gives everyone talents. He does this so that they will be multiplied.

Therefore as a choir, we have embarked on the project of completely uniting the prayer of the Rosary to music, knowing that our singing is a talent and mystery, which will also be a way to unite more hearts to God’s heart.

This experience of multiplication and encounter generates a profound joy in the heart of everyone, because when talents are multiplied, and it is offered to the Lord, he invites us saying: “Come, share your master’s joy. (Mt. 25:21)”
