“La ronda de los amigos (The Roundtable of Friends), invite you to play. Come, sing with me and you will find many friends”, are the words of the classic Chilean childhood song. This was also the title of the annual María Ayuda: “Roundtable of Friends 2017”.
The subsidiaries from the different cities of Chile (Los Ángeles, Concepción, Viña del Mar, Curicó, Antofagasta, Iquique, Temuco, Santiago, Ovalle and Rancagua), enthusiastically organized this large event with the objective to share as a family, to show the progress of the work, and at the same time to raise funds for its maintenance. More than six thousand people from different cities of the country attended this entertaining event that is so meaningful to María Ayuda (Mary Helps). It is a gathering that mobilizes everyone who collaborates with the work of the corporation – from its workers to business sponsors, members and friends.
Moreover, the “Roundtable of Friends” is also a time that makes people, families and authorities aware of child abuse in Chile – in a recreational and positive manner.
There are entertaining contests like bingo, accompanied by generous entertainers, excellent music, comedy and magic shows that enliven everyone at the Rondas de los Amigos. Once again this event has been an unforgettable experience for our corporation.
