On 8 September, on the Feast of the Nativity of Mary, the people of God of Nuestra Señora de Loreto [Our Lady of Loreto] parish in El Palomar, Diocese of Morón responding to the Holy Father’s call to begin a diocesan mission, gathered at the Blessed Mother’s first wayside shrine for the blind.
Fr. Casimiro celebrated Holy Mass in a joyful and welcoming atmosphere celebrating Mary’s birthday; many friends and new people from the neighborhood met and came to greet the Blessed Mother. As the song states, “I do not know if the Church went to heaven or heaven came down, I do know it is filled with God’s angels because God is here…” was truly the experience: a heavenly afternoon, close to our dear Mother in a welcoming family atmosphere, which always occurs around her.
Thank you dear Mother for gathering us around you so that we may go out together to encounter all of our brothers/sisters, who are in most need of our love and friendship.
