Preparing the heart
ECUADOR, Javier Lucin. The Ecuadoran Schoenstatt Family prepare hearts for celebrating the 40th Anniversary of the Blessing of the Guayaquil Shrine with the motto: Father's Family-hearth for the world." They will do so with a day of continuous Adoration in the Shrine on behalf of all the communities with many offerings to the capital of grace made with actual visits to the Shrine and praying the "We go to the Shrine" novena.
The festivities began with the Mass on the 18th, where the founding brothers gave beautiful testimonies about the birth of the Shrine, and how it has brought forth an outgrowth of fruitfulness and holiness.
National Shrine
A solemn mass was concelebrated on January 20th, in which this Shrine, "father's family home to the world" as a national shrine, was proclaimed. In the Offertory in a special way, the Family Branch offered their ideal: "Living Shrine of Nazareth."
Heartfelt thanks for the life that has grown over these forty years, because it has fulfilled the desire of the first founders, who prayed fervently that the Blessed Mother would be established in the Shrine, pouring forth streams of grace.
