Some months ago, Maria Fischer, a communicator and leader of the schoenstatt.org team, confirmed her visit to Paraguay. We contacted her to arrange a talk in Tupãrenda. There were great expectations about this event because of the proposed subject: “To see how you see and to speak like you speak; communicate heart to heart like Fr. Joseph Kentenich,” an excellent subject and a beloved speaker in Paraguay.
Months of preparations and adjustments were made preceding the great day of 26 March. Very early that morning our spirit crashed by the storm hit, and the weather forecast advised being careful. We felt a little sad and frustrated because we anticipated little participation. We went to Tupãrenda in prayer and great faith, the rain let up, and the sun peeked through the clouds some.
Stories and experiences about a human priest, father, prophet
Maria Fischer arrived at the site at 10:00 a.m., along with many faithful ones who showed great interest in this journalist’s words. She shared testimonies and commented about several stories and experiences that showed us a human priest, father, prophet reaching all the participants, who were touched by the contact her family had with Father Kentenich.
After the talk, many people interacted with Maria, with questions that were answered with simplicity and humility. So the words and phrases reached those who needed them, on a day when it rained a great deal, however it was a shower of blessings in Tupãrenda.
