Three questions…about Schoenstatt of the second century of the Covenant of Love (47)

Today, Mima and Juan Carlos Cardona from Paraguay respond: they have been married for 41 years, they have three children: José Félix, Claudia Adriana and María Guadalupe, and three grandchildren: Sara, Elías Samuel and María Lujan.

We belong to Ciudad del Este’s founding generation. Nationally we are in Family Branch 72 (like the number of disciples Jesus sent out in the Gospel), in Ciudad del Este, “New Life” Group 4. We belong to Apostolic Family League Circle 35. Currently we are the coordinators of the Rosary Campaign in the country’s interior; we were Rosary Campaign lay advisers for the Diocese of Concepción and Amambay for eight years. The Rosary Campaign is our only and exclusive apostolate •

Over a year into the pilgrimage through the second century of the covenant of love…what is your dream for this Schoenstatt in who we are and where we find ourselves in the Church, the world, and in our mission?

For us this dream becomes a reality and Schoenstatt is growing stronger day by day conveying a multiplying effect.

Schoenstatt is a movement that educates us, trains and transforms us. It is a movement of profound apostolic fruitfulness, where each member should internalize the Father and Founder’s spirit.

We reach families through the Rosary Campaign, especially in the interior, putting into practice all the richness of the COVENANT OF LOVE that our beloved Father Joseph teaches us and the Mother Thrice Admirable, Queen of Schoenstatt’s love and commitment. She changes and forms us into the new man in a new community with the strength of the COVENANT OF LOVE. Through the Rosary Campaign, Schoenstatt reaches the Church, especially in the interior, in the furthest corners. Therefore the priest counts on this great support; we could say that this is Schoenstatt reaching out.

In order to fulfill this dream, what do we need to avoid or leave behind?

Once we have made a commitment, we should carry it out responsibly.

Do not just promise to do something, instead just do it.

Once you make a commitment, carry it out to the highest degree possible.

If we want to be a part of this new community, we should cast off the old man, the subdued one who does not have time for God’s things.

In order to fulfill this dream, what practical steps do we have to take?

We should educate ourselves, because training is very important, in order to train other brothers/sisters in the faith.

Be Jesus’ disciples and missionaries, so that our people will have life in Him (Aparecida Document).

Carry out what Pope Francis asks of us, reach out to and encounter people.

Pray the Holy Rosary.
