Three questions…about the second century of the Covenant of Love (2)

Today Martín Pereira, from Asunción, Paraguay, a missionary of the Schoenstatt Rosary Campaign, Family Federation answered •

What is your dream for this Schoenstatt in who we are and where we find ourselves in the church and in the world, and in our mission?

I see a Movement that is closer to the people, a pilgrim movement that departs from the Shrine to the places of greatest need, I see a new life that begins among ourselves, with Schoenstatters, who are joyful and strengthened by the Covenant of Love with Mary, missionary Schoenstatters, who are able to conquer the world taking the word of Jesus Christ and transmitting the immense love of his mother, our Blessed Mother, the Most Holy Virgin.

In order to fulfill this dream, what do we need to avoid or leave behind?

We should strengthen ourselves through the Gospel; we should educate ourselves as Mary’s instruments. Pope Francis urges all Christians to be missionaries, and we, Schoenstatters, come from an Apostolic Movement, and since it already characterizes us to do ordinary things extraordinarily well, we have the commitment to be true apostles of Jesus Christ, to set aside our laziness, our comfort and to go out to conquer hearts, to set the world on fire.

In order to fulfill this dream, what practical steps do we have to take?

To fulfill this dream we only have to begin to walk, to go out from our Shrine set to form a great nation of God, taking the picture of the MTA with us and certain that our Blessed Mother offers us the grace of “Apostolic Zeal.”
