Change of date for Gathering of Marriage Educators of FAF in Costa Rica

COSTA RICA, Michelle Ramírez •

The date for the First International Gathering of Marriage Educators and the Family Federation has been changed for organizational reasons, and it now will be held from 12-15 April 2018, in San José, Costa Rica, at the Schoenstatt Movement House, adjacent to the “Family of Hope” Shrine.

Last October, Costa Rica extended an invitation to every country’s Family Federation, supported by the International Board, and many joined the mission.

The objective of the gathering is to form an “international network of educator couples, who use common pedagogical tools, promote the exchange of knowledge, experiences and emphases among different countries and territories.”

“At the moment, we have received confirmation from six countries: Chile, Argentina, Ecuador, Paraguay, the United States, and Germany. We are very happy to welcome them to Costa Rica by offering our joy and warmth close to our recently inaugurated Shrine,” said Daniela de Mesalles, one of the members in charge of receiving registration forms. “We look forward to couples from other countries participating.”

Fr. Rafael Fernández, from Chile, Fr. José Luis Correa, Chilean and advisor to the Costa Rica Family, Fr. Bernardo Parra, Chilean working in Ecuador, and Sr. María Auxiliadora Bohórquez, advisor for the Federation in Costa Rica will also attend.

Registration is still open, contact Daniela Ramírez eimecostarica@gmail.com
