Schoenstatt Fathers will open a new house in Washington

USA, Fr. Jesus Ferras and editors •
The Community of Schoenstatt Fathers has decided to open a new house in Washington, D. C. The Schoenstatt family in the Washington, D. C. area has been steadily growing during the last few years, and they believe this is a needed step as we expand to serve the Schoenstatt family in the East coast of the nation from Washington.

Movement Coordinator and Shrine Rector at present in Austin, Texas, Fr. Jesus Ferras will lead this new endeavor along with two other Schoenstatt Fathers.  Chilean Fr. Patricio Rodriguez, who already has worked in Austin for several years, will replace Fr. Jesús Ferras in both of these capacities.

“I have been visiting the Washington, D.C. area for the last six years and am excited about the opportunity to serve our expanding Schoenstatt family in that area,” Fr. Jesús Ferras commented.
